Section 1: Handmade Products
Every miniature we sell is individually designed, printed, assembled, painted, and finished by hand in our West Virginia workshop. Because each piece is handcrafted, slight variations in color, weathering, finish, and appearance are normal and should be considered part of the unique character of handmade work.
Product photographs are intended to represent the item as accurately as possible, but minor variations are to be expected.
Refunds & Returns
We want you to be delighted with your purchase. If your order arrives damaged, defective, or significantly different from its description, please contact us within 3 days of delivery. We will gladly work with you to repair, replace, or refund the item when appropriate.
Section 2 : Dove & Pear Digital Download License
Thank you for supporting Dove & Pear. Every STL file we offer represents many hours of original design, testing, and refinement. Our goal has always been to make high-quality miniatures available to hobbyists and artists who enjoy printing, painting, and bringing them to life in their own unique way.
By purchasing our digital files, you agree to the following license.
You May
- ✔ Print the files for your own personal use.
- ✔ Paint, modify, weather, customize, or otherwise artistically finish printed models.
- ✔ Sell physical prints that have been personally finished or substantially transformed through your own creative work.
Examples include:
- Hand painted miniatures
- Artist-finished dollhouse pieces
- Customized or altered prints
Pieces incorporated into original miniature scenes or displays
You May Not
- ✘ Redistribute, share, sell, or give away the STL files.
- ✘ Upload the files to any website, marketplace, file-sharing service, or print-on-demand service.
- ✘ Sell, sublicense, rent, or transfer the digital files.
- ✘ Sell unpainted or minimally finished prints produced primarily through automated printing.
- ✘ Operate a print-on-demand or large-scale production business using Dove & Pear designs.
- ✘ Claim Dove & Pear designs as your own original work.
What We Mean by “Artist Finished”
Our intention is to provide artists and hobbyists with a foundation for their own creativity—not simply a file to mass produce. A finished piece should reflect meaningful artistic effort beyond the printing process. Painting, weathering, customization, assembly into original scenes, or other creative finishing all qualify. Simply printing a model and offering it for sale with little or no artistic transformation does not.
Commercial Use
Limited commercial use is permitted for individual artists and small makers creating artist-finished physical products. If you intend to manufacture, wholesale, mass produce, or use Dove & Pear designs as the basis of a commercial production operation, please contact us to discuss licensing.

All STL files, models, artwork, and associated materials remain the intellectual property of Dove & Pear. Purchasing a file grants you a license to use it under these terms. Ownership of the design itself is never transferred.
